Most trades and services travel from Cairns or Innisfail; our directory is designed to help you connect with other residents and nominated trades and share the travel costs. By nominating trades and services you know and joining existing job requests, it makes it worth the drive for the tradies and keeps call-out fees low for our community. You can see below how many nominations are in each category.
What you can do with this directory
1. Help the Bramston Beach community by nominating a reliable local trade or service. Word-of-mouth from past work is our best tool for building a trusted directory.
2. Need a job done? Post it here. It will automatically post at the Bramston Beach Life Facebook page so others can see it and join your request.
3. See a job already posted? Join it! By grouping our requests (like 3 people needing air-con service), we make it worth the drive for the tradie and split the call-out costs among ourselves.
Example of how we save:
If you need an electrician but don’t want to pay a full travel fee from Cairns or Innisfail, check the Electricians category. If a resident has already requested a similar job, join their request! You both get your work done, and the tradie only charges one trip.
