What happens once we have a trade directory?

We are building a directory of trusted professionals to make it easier (and more affordable) for all of us to get work done. Here is the process:

• Step 1: Build the Database
  We are using your nominations to create a list of reliable tradespeople willing to travel to Bramston Beach. That is what the form below is for!
• Step 2: Connect to Facebook
  If there is enough community support for the database, we will build a system that interacts with the Bramston Beach Life Facebook page to help you connect with other residents.
• Step 3: Post a Request
  When you have a job that needs doing, you will be able to post a “Trade Request” on this website.
• Step 4: Automatic Facebook Alert
  Your request is then automatically shared to our community Facebook page, Bramston Beach Life, alerting residents at Bramston that a specific trade (like a plumber or sparkie) is needed.
• Step 5: Community Power & Coordinated Booking
  Other members can “add their name” if they have a similar job. Once we have a cluster of jobs, we can reach out to a tradie from our directory. This makes the trip to Bramston worth their while and allows us to split travel fees and lower overall costs.
